For any of you looking for a grocery shop, there is just one across the bakery (google maps doesnt show it), where you can get fruits, drinks, and the basics.Visited in April 2023
I had the most amazing brown bread in September 2024 from this bakery and I'm still thinking about it. I don't speak French, so I don't know what kind of bread it was. Dear baker, please let me know what kind of bread it was? It was a small brown oval shaped loaf. (I actually travelled up the valley a few days later to try and buy another one, but to my utmost regret you were closed.)

Excellent bakery that would do well anywhere, but in a small town I was particularly pleased. The Apple Tart was phenomenal, and the various breads we purchased for our hike were all excellent. For tourists, be warned the line can get quite long after the train arrives, and they did not seem to speak much English (pointing and using fingers to specify quantity works in any language, thank goodness!).

The best bakery of our trip! Very yummy and cheap. Had an excellent sandwich and some other treats for the train ride!

We were on a bike tour of the region and stopped in for some pastries. The lovely lady behind the counter expertly wrapped our eclairs so they wouldn't be damaged - they were even more delicious after a hard day's riding. Thank you!
Loved it. Everything is fresh and super good. Not sure if there's another boulangerie in the area but this one is for sure the one where you want to take the food for your hikes.

Stopped here for a sandwich and dessert on way to hike. Great food and service. As an aside, fun town to visit which also has a nice museum.
Just amazing, incredibly tasty and fresh, even on Saturday morning. Also nice staff.
